Is Tokabeln really for free?

Yes. Currently Tokabeln is free. And ads are limited to the main screen. The only limitiation you have is that there is a size limit when publishing your book. And this is just because I have to pay for the used cloud space.

Why are there not more books for download?

Those books are created by users - so their availability depends on what you and others provide.

What can I do if a downloaded book has objectable content?

Please use the 'Feedback' button to inform me. I will check the book and remove it from the cloud if need be. You can also easily delete your local copy (long-click on the book and select 'x')

How do I delete an item?

Typically any item (word, phrase, variant, etc) can be deleted through a long-click on the item in its respective list. The item will then get selected and a 'x' icon will be shown. This allows you to delete the item. If the item is referenced anywhere (like e.g. a word in a phrase) this reference will also be removed, but the other item not (like e.g. the phrase will of course not be deleted if you delete a word reference).

Note that you can only delete items in your own books and extensions.

Can I provide direct feedback?

In the main screen on the top-left, there is a menu icon. The menu will offer you the possibility to provide feedback as email (if you have an email app on your phone). Note: The email for feedback is feedback@tokabeln.de

For downloaded books, the preferred way is to use the 'Feedback' button of the book - as then the email will include some data to identify the book. Such feedback can then also be forwarded to the book author himself.

How can I enter special characters?

In many languages you do need special characters. To get access to those, you have to install the respective language for the keyboard you use. Go to Settings - System - Languages and Input - Gboard (if you use Gboard). Then add the respective language. Afterwards you should be able to easily enter the characters in any app.
